Player Races
In terms of game mechanics the races of PCs make very little difference, it’s mostly just a cosmetic choice. Each player has the freedom to stick to or stray from the stereotypes of each race as much as they want.
Hylian is the most common race, and is almost identical to human except for pointier ears. Hylians are the race said to be “closest to the gods” so are more likely to have natural magic, nobles especially so. Kakariko Village is currently the largest Hylian settlement, but it's not unusual to find Hylians anywhere in the land.
